Biolum - VR

Bioluminescence VR is a project created in collaboration between Iko studio (french VR studio) and Prefrontal Cortex (German studio) in wich i had the pleasure to work at Iko studio during a 6 month intership, as an environment artist.

Biolum is an VR experience sold on Steam and immersing you in the depths of the sea, in the shoes of research scientist Rachel, which doesn't go as planned.

Here are some of my work for this project !
They were produced to populate the main environment of the project.
- Moodboard and preparatory research
- Realistic DA
- VR friendly
- Asset modeling (Low/High) with 3Dsmax and Zbrush
- Texturing/Baking with Substance Designer and Painter
- Atlas texture creation for tubes.
- High focus on optimisation and lightweight asset (polycount / texuturing).
- Very large Vent asset with less than 8k poly (more than 200m)
